Paso Robles resident Jimmy de is the type of artist who likes to plumb the depths of an idea, to mine the vein till it's tapped, to exhaust every possibility before on to the next.

With his excellent mermaid series behind him he's photographed everything from graduation portraits to family pictures, modeling portfolios to weddings, business shots to reunion parties--but he's never ceased doing his own fine art work.

For his mermaid series, which took two years to complete, Jimmy made his own costumes, going so far as to consult with the costume designer of the Daryl Hannah/Tom Hanks film, "Splash."

Prints and note cards from that series are now for sale in shops from Los Angeles to Carmel and Hawaii to Cape Cod.

With a full service photography studio located in Paso Robles Jimmy is able to fulfill any project in house or on location.

His wedding photography is unmatched in quality and he approaches every project with a professionalism and eye for quality unmatched on the Central Coast.

He also invested in video equipment and began shooting and editing dance and stage performances. He's always looking for new and original ideas.

One client wanted photos of her 5-month-old in her fish-crazy husbands fishing gear. Jimmy customizes photos and has a closet full of costumes- mermaids, fairies, angels.
